Tandemloc’s namesake comes from this 12900BA-1PZ horizontal connector, also known as the TANDEMLOC CONNECTOR. The 12900BA-1PZ shipping container connectors are an easy-to-use device for connecting containers, shelters, or other structures together horizontally.
Structures outfitted with ISO corner fittings—such as shipping containers and shelters—can be clamped together with a slack-free, rigid connection using the horizontal connector, which fits side and end apertures of either top or bottom corner fittings and is used to connect containers or other structures with ISO corner fittings (ISO 1161) to form arrays of rigidly connected modules. Use of the horizontal connector enables multiple units to be locked together and shipped as one, saving time and money.
Shelter facilities can be quickly assembled using our connector. Connected modules forming a 20' ISO equivalent have received full CSC approval without waivers. The connector also joins two 20' containers end-to-end to create a 40' ISO equivalent, though users must verify their containers’ structural integrity before use.
