At almost 40 foot long with a work load limit
of 80,000 lbs, this beam is a departure from our other examples
of two-crane lifters. The AF11A00-00A has two lifting points
offset, making it a two crane lift beam for unequal crane
capacities. It also incorporates transverse beams for a 4 point
lift. As with almost everything we design and manufacture, this
design can be modified to suit your two crane lift needs. |

One of the advantage of this design is that it accomplishes a
4 point lift just as a fixed frame four point lifter but can be
taken apart and each component can be used as a lift beam. This
product combines two adjustment methods. The main beam
incorporates multi-hole pad-eyes while the smaller end beams use
the multi hole pad eyes at the bottom and the fast acting
sliding shackle adjustment design at the top. This lifter can be

This lift beam was designed to assist a water department with lifting and locating precast concrete products. The beveled edges match the inside diameter of the precast shapes as it is raised horizontally. The end users have applied a piece of rubber to both ends of the beam to "protect" the precast products. Hence the four hole pattern at each end. Using this beam has saved them time and money as they have not destroyed any pieces using this beam and they can lift and place the precast faster.

Pick. Ends Rated at 65,000 LB Each Straight Pull
This is an example of a very low headroom lifter. The crane hook can lift directly from the center padeye with shackle or from each end (at 65,000 lbs each, straight pull). the clevis type ends can connect up with pendants without shackles and they are tucked up above the
bottom of the beam to reduce the headroom. The pins have safety lanyards to prevent loss.

U.S. Navy called on TANDEMLOC to build a "lightweight" 240,000
lbs capacity lift beam and we answered the call with this newly
designed lifter made of T-1 alloy steel, which offers high
strength at a lighter weight than low carbon steel. The lifter
was proof tested in house to 300,000 lbs., not once but several
times, so that each padeye was loaded. |
