The Offset is a customized Counterweight Lift Beam designed to reach where a crane can’t. The current distance of reach is 86”, but if that doesn’t work for your application, our engineers here at Tandemloc can provide a custom product that will meet your requirements.
The AZ24 cantilever beam can be used either manually or motorized. The motorized setting uses a removable single 12-volt, 15AH lithium battery pack to power an ¼ horsepower DC electric motor driving a nut on a fixed acme screw. This is a self-locking drivetrain without the need for a braking system; it’s non-back-driveable, eliminating the concern for runaway counterweights. The counterweight aligns with the beam and is not hanging below it for a more compact profile.
