This item was developed for a customer who required an item that would alter the direction of their fixed lifting hook by 90 degrees in order to interface with the fixed lifting rings on pre-stress concrete highway bridge forms. The customer located near Tampa, FL received these forms from a concrete plant destroyed at Pass Christian, MS in Hurricane Katrina. They were originally utilized to build the I-10 bridge across Lake Pontchartrain leading into New Orleans. Many sections of this structure were lost in the storm and had to be quickly rebuilt. The customer counted on Tandemloc's expertise to get these load tested and certified units built in a hurry!
