Swivel Lock (SL)*
Demountable Swivel Lock (DSL)*
Notched Yoke (NY)*

Plunger type swivel locks are used where it is necessary to
convert swivel casters into rigid casters for aided steering
control. Demountable Swivel locks (DSL) are designed for field
installation or replacement of swivel locks. The swivel caster
must have a notched yoke (NY) for demountable swivel lock to operate. |

Depressing pedal compresses a polyurethane pad against a
non-skid metal pad which prevents the wheel from rotating.
Adjustments can be made to increase or decrease pressure
against the wheel. Also, adjustments can be made to increase
or decrease pressure against wheel. Adjustments can be made to
compensate for wear of wheel. |

Cast Iron Wheels (CI)
Cast Iron wheels are high strength grey iron castings. Cast
Iron wheels are exceptionally long wearing, provide resistance
to shock and are a good choice for heavy loads in
manufacturing and warehousing. Cast Iron wheels are
recommended for rough concrete, wood block and littered
floors.

Durastan
(DU)
Durastan wheels are molded from prime phenolic resin compounds
with maximum density and strength. Durastan wheels are of a
special water resistant compound using a homogeneous fiber
reinforcement that gives excellent service even in wet and
cold applications. In addition, Durastan wheels resist
corrosion from oil, grease, and commonly used acids and
solvents. Recommended for all types of floors except resilient
tile. Durastan wheels should not be towed at high speeds or
used on poor floors.

V-Groove (VF)
V-Groove wheels are high strength cast iron castings or forged steel forgings machined with a
90° groove for operation on inverted angle iron track. They are used to control the flow of a load, i.e., into an oven, between machines, over long distances or where "production line" sequence is required. Care must be made to assure the inverted angle iron track is is parallel to ensure smooth and constant tracking. In some cases it may be advisable to run inverted angle iron on one side with V-Groove wheels and flat bar stock steel on the other side with a flat faced cast iron or forged steel wheel. |

Urethane on Iron wheels are liquid cast and chemically bonded
to our machined cast iron cores. Careful attention is made
during the bonding process to ensure that each urethane on
iron wheel meets or exceeds TANDEMLOC's high standards of
performance. Our urethane on iron wheels have capacities near
that of steel wheels. They will outlast rubber wheels by
several times. In addition, these wheels are non-marking to
floors. Urethane wheels also provide outstanding abrasion
resistance and are resistant to most chemicals and oils. 10 x

Ultra Thick Urethane Wheels
(UT)
Ultra Thick Urethane wheels solve performance applications previously requiring press-on wheels. The thick tread reduces contact stresses in the polyurethane during high loading and towing which reduces tread chunking. These liquid cast wheels feature a chemical and mechanical lock between the core and the urethane. Each core has machined grooves to provide more surface area for good adhesion. These wheels provide you with: Softer Ride - good for towing applications; Quite Operation - due to tread thickness; Increased Bond Life - due to grooves in core and heat dissipation with thick poly. In addition, these wheels are non-marking to floors, provide outstanding abrasion resistance, and are resistant to most chemicals. |
