SUPERLOC II - VERTICAL CONNECTOR (401A00A-1GA) Formerly Part No. 74010-1

The simple, symmetrical, and foolproof connector for stacked ISO type standard freight containers or similar products.


• MATERIAL: Nodular Iron (GR. 80-55-06) Castings with Steel Fasteners, Chain & Pin.
• PAINT NO.: On Painted Assemblies, Paint Specifications and Color are to be determined as required; otherwise, commercial primer (gray) will be supplied.
• MAINTENANCE: Before each use visually check assembly for defects and loose screws. A squirt of waterproof grease into the flange vent holes helps operation.
• SHIPPING WEIGHT: 15 Lb. Max.
• STRENGTH: Tension between heads, Ult. Capacity: 50,000 Lb.
• Symmetrical design makes improper use impossible.
• Unsurpassed lightweight and rugged design make operations easy.
• SuperLoc II has a cam action for operation in damaged containers.
• Cones are one integral piece.
• Connects standard (ISO 1496) containers at standard (ISO 1161) corners.

CAUTIONS:  The combination of compact loose connectors and lifting to stack or unstack has the potential hazard possibility of dropped connectors. Personnel should stand clear to avoid being struck by a dropped and/or bouncing loose connector.

To avoid damage to containers, lift gear and connectors, and hazard to personnel, always be sure that connectors are both de-pinned and twist-unlocked before lifting to de-stack.
